These photos are from a backpacking trip in July 2007 from Lake Sabrina, near Bishop, CA to near Dingleberry Lake. The hike in was about 6 miles with an elevation gain of over 2000 ft. From there we hiked to many of the beautiful alpine lakes in the area. We were visited by rain every afternoon adn a good dose of hail once. We were treated to sunny mornings, long day hikes and star filled skies at night. It was another grand adventure with wonderful friends, both old and new.
