It was late October and out of nowhere a comet appeared like an extra star shining deep within the constellation of Perseus. Brightening by a factor of a million after undergoing an "outburst" event somewhere between the orbit of Mars and Jupiter, the fuzzy object continued to grow in size in the night sky. Here's the view just looking up from my backyard during the first few weeks of outburst.
