On 28th June 2005 an International Fleet Review was help of Spithead in the Solent to commemorate 200 years since the victory of the Royal Navy over the combined French and Spanish Fleets at Trafalgar.

In the evening a reenactment of a 17th centuary sea battle has held using 17 tall ships.
