Sep 10 - Pohono Trail

We did this West - East hike along the Yosemite Valley's South Rim.
We started from the Tunnel View trail head, up to the top of the Rim and hiked to
Glacier Point with many stops at the view points.
We encountered a bit of rain on the trail and the sounds of thunder around us.
After taking a break at Glacier Pt, we descended to the valley floor on the 4-mile trail.

Total Mileage = 17 miles.
Total Time = 10:54:00
Elevation Gain: 6,118 ft
Elevation Loss: 6,539 ft

One day were going to meet, Bryan, and it could be in Yosemite. It would be nice to share some time making photos with you in such a beautiful place.

Wonderful hike images - thanks for sharing them. I don't know if I could do a 17 mile 11 hour hike with camera gear :-(
