B-17 Flying Fortress

This and another restored WWII bombers were flying around the valley this weekend.
For a high fee, one could enjoy a ride around the Santa Clara valley and a view of the
Pacific Ocean in one of these historic bombers.

Had the chance to fly in one about 5 years ago. I was going to back off when I heard the price but the wife said I should go as it would be the thrill of a lifetime. She was right. I was able to crawl out into the nose gun area while the plane flew over the mountains just north of the Smokies. What a piece of history! Beautiful capture Bryan.
