Visiting the Bat Inn at Colero County Park

Went on a Ranger led visit to this Bat Inn. There are about 900+ bats sleeping in this Inn during
the day.
Lots of information on the benefits of bats in our environment as they eat lots of annoying insects such as mosquitos.

We saw hundreds of bats flying out of this Inn at sunset and zoom down to the local reservoir
for feeding during the night.

The blurred spot to the left of the Inn is a bat flying out.
