This was a short backpacking trip to try out the new, light backpacks for three of our group who
plan to do a three week trip on the John Muir trail. From the floor of Yosemite Valley to the
top of Mount Whitney, about 200+ miles.

This was an inaugural trip with my new backpack with about 30 lbs of stuff. The backpack
was great with no soreness in the shoulders, hips and back.
