A test launch of an unarmed rocket from Vandenberg AFB to the Central Pacific Island of Kwajalein.

Vandenberg AFB is around two hundred miles away from us.

The city lights are around the Monterey bay.

The lower dotted lights is an annoying plane that got in the way of this picture:-(

It launched right on time.

BTW, this annoying plane (in a photographic sense) was nowhere near the rocket, so no danger here.
