Stearns Wharf of Santa Barbara

Stopped at Santa Barbara on my long drive to the parents house in Southern California.

I like to stop here and take a break from the six hour drive as I hit the rush hour traffic.

Great capture. I love this view. I attended UCSB 1981-1983 and my friends and I would get into Santa Barbara several times a year (the college is 13 miles to the north). The light this time of the evening is just beautiful.

Alfred's right; it does look very much like a painting. Being so close to the water and seeing the American Flag, I first thought it was a fort from the war of 1812. Great light Bryan.
