Fall color in the Redwoods

Went for a hike deep in the Santa Cruz mountains. This area was just
bought by the state as a new addition to Castle Rock State park.
Lots of magnificent redwoods and some Maples turning yellow.

Lots of acorns and yellow banana slugs were on the trail.

very nice to see the bright maple leaves juxtaposed with the huge redwoods. Those redwood trees are amazing. I would love to see one in real life.
