Near the Leeds and Liverpool Canal in Skipton, Yorkshire.

After checking into our hotel, we took a short drive to Skipton to check out the street market and to walk around this small town.

The Leeds and Liverpool canal is the longest single canal in Britain.
Spanning 127 miles, it was completed in 1816 after 46 years of construction.
