Back on the Lonliest Road in America

view map

Almost a year since I was driving on this road.
Have two other drivers to share the 9 hour, 576 mile trek to Ely, Nevada.

Interstate 50 or the Lincoln highway.

The road goes on forever. That is a long trek. Luckily you had multiple drivers.

You want to try our Nullarbor Plain...1675 km ( approx 1038 miles and takes 2 days :))
I like your POV, Brian. V

there is a notable lack of stimulating features to keep the mind alert and nimble...at least the ciouds are lively, and there are mountains to aim for...a fine shot to define the experience you had..

An abundance of wide open space. Nice sky.

seems it would take a while to reach those mountains in the distance.V.
