This is near here where we crossed the river again and lost the trail on the other side of the river.

Bill and Dave both climbed up the mountain, with Bill climbing to the top where the road was. After awhile, Dave, John and myself, climbed up the treacherous mountainside to the top and lost Bill.

We then ran into a hiker on the road, and pronounced that Bill was alive and walking down the mountain to meet us.
