"Unhealthy" Air

From the smoke of the Camp Fire, a couple of hundred miles north of the bay area.
The EPA agency, airnow.gov, has us currently rated at 195 particles/million.

Normally a view of the Santa Cruz mountains would be visible.

Heard that northern California currently has the worst air pollution in the world.

So, no biking or hiking this weekend.

We're seeing the devastation here on our news broadcasts and it's hard to comprehend the death toll and the huge number of people missing and homeless, and now the added problem of air pollution. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

We have family members arriving in California to help
celebrate their brother's 50th birthday.... and first
photo was of the Golden Gate bridge engulfed in smoky haze.

discouraging and disturbing...looks a good moment to get out of town for a while if that is an option...living in this toxic air cannot be healthy..
