Totality

view map

So, me and some friends and a lot of other passengers took a couple of charted planes from Moffett Field to Madras, Oregon.

We flew in the very early morning and deplaned to see the Solar Eclipse and then returned home in the afternoon.

It was an amazing experience as the totality occurred it got chillier and the day turned to night and back to day light.

It was also amazing to see the approximately 400 planes parked at this little airport and the many campers in the open fields in Madras.
