South of San Francisco facing the Pacific Ocean.
When it opened in 1896, it was the largest indoor swimming pool establishment.
It had six salt water pools and one fresh water pool.
It was financially unprofitable and was closed. It later burned down during its deconstruction.
The land is now part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area.
