At Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado.

Spent the weekend camping at Moraine Park Meadows watching the Bull Elks bugle their distinctive deep
resonant sound to attract their many cows. They put a lot of effort with their stomachs heaving with each bugle.

They would also chase off any potential suitors to their harem of cows.

The bugling could be heard from dusk to dawn.
