110803 - Fall hike in Yosemite

Visited Yosemite National Park for a hike up the 4-mile trail to Glacier Point and then looped back to Curry Village via the Panorama trail and the Muir trail.
Saw lots of fall colors, magnificent views and plenty of snow on the trails.
As for wildlife, we saw a coyote sauntering along the trail and Joe, Erin and Bill encountered a gigantic bear outside the tents. There was to be a viewing of the lunar eclipse, but the rainy weather prevented this. Bryan, Great pictures of your trip. Sherri (my sister) forwarded the link. I've enjoyed looking through your galleries after each trip and hearing about the trip from Sherri. With two young kids, my hiking has been cut down in recent years, but I enjoy living vicariously! Phil Johnson Grenville, SC

Brian, very nice pictures. I almost wish I had gone. BTW, I missed the lightning and thunder. I must have been asleep. Too bad, I enjoy them a lot.
