I have been looking for an American Kestral nest for about 6 years now. I finally found one in a Saguaro Cactus near Cave Creek, Arizona. I used a combination of remote cameras, infrared trips, step ladders, two cameras, and lots of other gear to get these photographs. I spent 8 mornings photographing the kestral family. The images show the female (who did most of the feeding), the male (who did most of the hunting), and some of the chicks after they left the saguaro cavity. I hope you enjoy the images.
