watercolours

More from similar locations only the water has dropped a long way thanks to a dry winter and gas miners sucking the dam almost dry. I love the effect of a puff of breeze on these reflections. This is what I wrote earlier ...

A winter fire with a backdrop of a stunning sunset by the dam at the outlaws' property 90km east of Roma. The light breeze painted beautiful pictures in the reflections. I stood on my head to take those ones. not. A massive flood had roared thru there a few months earlier but the dam wall held firm, just. We would have been 4-5m underwater.
