Australia's red heart is spectacular. These were taken over a few days in early June 09 and feature the East and West McDonnell Ranges either side of Alice, including Ndhala Gorge where i spent an amazing night camped out alone and a freezing morning, Trephina Gorge, Ellery Ck Big Hole (the cover shot) and Simpsons Gap. The "aerial" shots (ie through the plane window) on the way to Ayers Rock are of the Olgas, Uluru, the West McDonnell ranges and massive salt pans east of Uluru.
