Ahhh...after pulling up the linoleum, we were greeted with a several square feet of ancient black tar adhesive. It took hours of scraping by two of us to finally get rid of most of this nasty stuff. But, we can see the pretty original oak hardwood flooring underneath. Some areas will need repairing, but it could be nice.
