After a day touring Fountains Abbey and going back to the farm to MILK THE COWS, we went up to Helmsley, a quaint town that had the worst flooding in a century the day I arrived in the UK. A hundred sheep and a dozen(?) motorcycles were washed away. The town was cleaned up from the flooding, but most tourists canceled their visits. The bar was empty and the grill was off. After a beer we headed back to Ox Leas for something to eat.
