Jeanne

This one's from the archives. I am archiving my photos from last year to DVD, first converting to tiff and then downsizing the tiffs to 70kb jpgs. The jpgs will stay on the PC and eventually be given subject and keywords for searching purposes and the tiffs will be on DVD only and the original NEFs are also being burned to DVD. In that process I'm cleaning up lots of photos that should have been deleted and came across this one. Taken last summer on my San Francisco trip. I'll have one from today by the end of the day. It's snowing again!!

Mark, Are you using any specific software to do your cataloging and indexing (PS Album, iView, iMatch, etc.)? I keep futzing around trying to decide -- want every possible feature at no cost. :( I'd be interested in how you're going about it. I also need to get a DVD writer; everything has been going on CD so far -- which can't even hold a full card of photos. -dds (p.s. I tried to send this as a pmail, but the system chokes on something.)

No really, this isn't so awful, except that lippie color? Yikes, that's one for the trash!

I got all mine on DVD finally, took forever! Too bad about the snow, it's 65 and sunny!
