December 7, 2004

The same tree from last week from a different angle on a miserable London-like day--chilly, foggy with a misty rain. Well, I don't really know what London's like. I've never been there.

The white things on the benches are ribbons, one for each civilian killed in Iraq.

Do the ribbon placers maintain the ribbons? dreary days make interesting photos...

I hope the rest of the benches don't get covered . .it's rather ominous that whoever started this left a leading edge

too many ribbons on all sides, how many will it take?

Excellent mood capture. Info about ribbons is interesting.
Image is not level... slopes to the right.

A great photo; I like the benches lined up in a queue, just like Londoners once formed an orderly queue when waiting for a bus.

Your perception of London is spot on. The current conditions at London City Airport: 9C, mostly cloudy, mist. It's a bit warmer than normal today.
