From the thumb, I thought this was a lighthouse; I have lighthouses on the brain...you really do this so well. That blue skey and the building poised against each other. Lovely balance.

Very unusual angle Mark. Yes, it does seem you are having fun and excelling with this new lens.

Gosh, I got dizzy just from the thumbnail! Great perspective, Mark. I love the colors of the building against that incredible sky.

Mark~ I love the composition. It is 'cutting edge' and I love living on the edge. ~~april

Ouch! I just dizzed out and fell over. BTW, where the heck is Seward's Square. (I guess that would make this building, or at least the photo, Seward's folly.) :) Very nice.

Thanks for the comments. You guys win. I cloned out the top of the street sign.

Interesting perspective an composition! I agree about the previous comment about the stick... it distracts a bit from the drama of the photo. Nice shot!!

Fantastic shot, punchy colours and a great composition. I love the positioning of the building on the side of the frame - unusual and dramatic - with the cloud balancing the image by filling the empty space. The only thing that spoils it (very slightly) is the 'stick' in the bottom left of the frame that distracts from the rest of the picture. If you clone that out, the picture will be perfect. It gets my vote anyway!
