My brother and his wife had a baby daughter today, Samantha, born at 8:24am, 6lbs, 1 oz. 18 inches. For whatever that's all about. So she becomes my second niece and seventh niece/nephew. Here's the front page of today's NY Times. She doesn't have to wait until she's 10 to go ordering "the paper on the day she was born."
