March 6, 2004

Another part of the "Awakening."

I thought I was going to spend the day inside doing laundry and cleaning but after I started the laundry, the sky cleared. It was temporary. I rode the later shower out under a bridge and managed to ride out to the end of the point in time to catch a rainbow. A shorter but still hard bike ride. Wind was 8mph out of the NW. Great going south, but a killer going north.

I've decided this reminds me of Thriller(the video) . .the all the ghouls (including Jackson) were dancing at the end. Weren't their arms & hands extended & gripping like this?? HA!

Perfect timing! I didn't even notice the rainbow in the thumbnail. It was very nice surprise.

Reminds me of the song "Catch the rainbow" by Rainbow.
Very good composition.

Thank you all. I thought a rainbow might be popular, so I ordered one. :) Had I weathered the storm nearby I would have gotten some awesome passing storm clouds. Here's an ant's eye view, Pete. (Looks best in the "original" size.)

What a great shot... and with rainbow too! I'd love to see this someday.

LUV the rainbow . . and that park STILL seems scary! Wonder what that arm would look like from an ants point of view?
Guest 07-Mar-2004 01:00

This is a real cool picture. You have the arm seeming to reach for the rainbow. It makes me feel like spring is almost within reach. I think this is an awesome piece of art. I look forward to someday seeing all of him, after his knee heals. Good job Mark.
