Garlock, California

Garlock was once known as El Paso City and Cow Wells,
Eugeneville and eventually simply Garlock. An 8-stamp mill
was erected in 1895. Ore from the Randsburg area was
processed here steadily until 1903, and eventually a mill
was added to the Yellow Aster Mine, causing the demise of
Garlock. The original Post Office is the most noted
building which is still standing. The post office
operated from 1896-1903 & again from 1923-1926.
