Three auxiliarists, affectionately known around the station as the "Three Amigos", go through the Personal Qualification Standards (PQS) for active duty crews at Station Channel Islands Harbor, Oxnard, CA. Two of the three are in their early fifties, and one turned 70 in August, yet all three met the rigorous physical standards.
