A member of CG Station Channel Islands, MK3 Richard Manaseri, was selected to have his 1966 truck (registering 400,000 miles) made over as part of an upcoming episode of NASCAR's new half-hour television show, NASCAR Angels. The show premieres in late September. Technicians at Mountain View Tires, a Goodyear Gemini auto care provider, transformed "Barney" into a classic during an intense three-week turnaround. While on location at Channel Islands, the MagicDust Television production crew spent a day on the water capturing Manaseri and crew members in various exercises. His totally remodeled Chevy was returned to him at a "reveal" party at the station. The episode will air later this fall. (2006)
