I am from Atlanta, Georgia but I grew up for several years on Drakes Way and my passion for Portishead has yet to subside. Your gallery is sometimes one of the best parts of my day! Thank you for the beautiful reminders of such sweet memories.

Geoff,

Fantastic photos. I've spent many a morning fishing off the point and it's great to see pictures capturing what it's really like to experience this place in the peace and quiet of a still sunrise.
I'd really like to get hold of a couple of prints if possible. How would I go about this?

Wow Geoff- you have some really beautiful photos there- makes me a little homesick!- I now live in Vancouver but have lived in Bristol and Somerset. Travelled a grat deal all over Somerset- such a beautiful county- have you thought of taking some shots on the levels- such a wondrous place.

Thanks once again for the splendid views- they really do stir the emotions

VERY inspirational, I live close-by to the lakegrounds and you have inspired me to upgrade my camera from a compact digital to a Digital SLR and to get out there again and start shooting...Thanks

This gallery puts Portishead on the map, I've never seen Battery point look so good you have a real eye for composition. Might see you out and about some day, really great gallery.

s'funny, having grown up in the same town, and still living on the outskirts - seeing it with someone else's eyes makes me realise how nice bits of Portishead are - well especially the lake grounds area anyway. Got some really nice pics there mate, like the stuff around Battery Point (the black & whites are cool).. i wondered if i knew anyone in your photos (but that's a pretty unlikely thing nowadays!)

Perhaps I shall do similar with Walton-in-Gordano or Clevedon.
