Panasonic DMC-FZ300: The original test series was done indoors in lower lighting conditions that are not optimum for a small sensor camera. Although I still have my circa 2012 Panasonic FZ200, the newer FZ300 is an upgrade. Weather sealing makes it more compatible with how I shoot. Because the FZ300 - along with my other Bridge Cameras - are spur-of-the-moment "walk around" cameras, the images in this gallery are eclectic.

Update: February 2019
When my original FZ300 was stolen during a 2019 trip, I immediately replaced it in Auckland, New Zealand. So, some of the images in this gallery are from my original 2015 camera and other images are from the newer 2019 camera. Obviously, I like this camera a lot. Otherwise, I wouldn't have purchased the same one again. To date, Panasonic has not offered an upgrade to the model and is still selling the same camera.

Update October 2022:
My Spring 2019 "New Zealand" version unexpectedly got caught in the rain that fried the internal electronics. So, I'm now on my 3rd copy of the same Bridge Camera. There has been no Pany upgrade during the past 7 1/2 years. My new 2022 camera is exactly the same as my 2015 version. Although it has limitations, the Fz300 Bridge Camera has been a workhorse for me.
