Things have slowed down at Squaw Creek. Most of the Summer Shorebirds have gone. The Reptiles are fewer and can only be spotted on very warm days. The Autumn flowers are finished for the season and have turned brown. However, if you look closely, there is still plenty of activity on the Marsh with Herons and some late staying Egrets. A handful of Bald Eagles have returned. Plus, a few more varieties of water fowl are starting to make their appearance. Now that Summer has song her last song, change is in the air.
