Eagle in a Sea of Snow Geese

No, the dark spots aren't "dust bunnies". They are blue Snow Geese. The white spots are, of course, white Snow Geese. I personally like the way they worked to create an "artistic" background for this Eagle against the Loess Hills. Distance, quantity, and motion blur caused the effect naturally.

Primeval.
A couple of weeks ago driving past Rend Lake in central Illinois there must have been thousands of geese. The sky was covered from horizon to horizon with overlapping V-formations. I couldn't figure out how I could take shot that would show what it was like, but this comes close.

Wow....if you didn't explain it, I would have thought those dots were droplets or some PS effect. If that's the case, this is really amazing shot! what more the perfect timing of capturing this `bird' soaring up the air. Vote!~

Great Shot! The geese make it look like pointalism art? Is the Loess Hills in Iowa? I used work at Camp Hitchcock in the old days! I heard they now have a tower for spotting eagles along the river valley.
