The Littlest Gardner 5-21-26

Chile

It's been a busy potting season this spring. So far, I've gone through 250 pounds of Mircle Gro potting mix just to top off the top third of my pots. Saturday, I planted 50 marigolds (of 6 different varieties) in various planters. Sunday, I planted 47 more annuals, mainly petunias. Monday and Tuesday were days off due to stormy weather. Wednesday, I planted another 26 annuals. Today, Thursday, I planted an additional 19, mainly Calibrachoas. Today Chile helped by checking things out.

I still have at least a quarter more of my back deck plants to do. But I'm currently out of potting soil, so that may not be for a couple of days. Then, it will be on to all the annuals in my potted plants in the courtyard. I can't say I love getting my hands dirty and all the hours it is taking, but a summer of beautiful blooms will be worth all my work. Chlle agrees... They will give her shade.

Wow, you really do garden! It must look spectacular after all that work. Chile obviously agrees.
