Totally weird day with destructive thunderstorms to the North, South, East, and West of us that made the ground on which I stood on here shake from the rumbles. The atmosphere was alive. Hail, some larger than baseballs, pounded parts of the Kansas City metro, damaging vehicles as severe, rotating thunderstorms raced across the area. There was major tree and home damage within less than a mile from our house, on all 4 sides.

All we got was one period of a heavy downpour of rain.
We were lucky.
