This has been a very strange year.
I planted the Calibrachoa in the lower right.
However, the Zinnia at the top left suddenly showed up at the end of July. A weed??? No, a flower. So, I allowed it to grow until it flowered so I could ID it. Now, I have lots of these zinnia blooms mixed in with the calibrachoas in this pot. I have no idea of how zinnias got into a pot of calibrachoa that was planted back in May. They unexpectedly started to show up at the end of July. So, I allowed them to grow to see what they'd be. No zinnias are within 9' of the pot. That should rule out seed drift. Luckily the combination of these two plants together looks like it was planned. However, I can't take credit. Mother Nature did it.
