No, the fans are not of one political party nor economic background nor age nor religion.
This is a time to forget politics and anything possibly divisive
and to concentrate on good thoughts
and to just be part of the community.
The Kansas City Metro is very much like a small town.
Their hometown sports teams bring everyone together.
Yes, I have read the ongoing, unrelenting, outside negativity.
Obviously, that won't stop until this era for the Kansas City Chiefs is over.
Fear not. Nothing lasts forever. Someday, there will be someone else for the Haters to hate.
Meanwhile, I prefer to look at the positive and to enjoy this time in sports history.
Win or lose the next Super Bowl, the Chiefs have already won a "threepeat" by reaching the Super Bowl three consecutive times. Our community is proud of them.
The Kansas City Chiefs have earned seven Super Bowl appearances in their history: 5 of them have been since 2020 with Patrick Mahomes as the quarterback. Their being in a Super Bowl before 2020 was 50 years prior in 1970. So, Chief fans are well aware of what it means to have a long dry spell and that heart break. They've been there: especially the older ones.
Now is time to just enjoy the moment and to embrace the community spirit that goes with it.
