Tara is entering the growth spurt age where everything grows fast but at different rates.

Since she is a mix of UK, Russian, Canadian, and US bloodlines, I don't know what to expect in her growth pattern. By this age, many of my homebred Chihuahuas slowed down in their gaining "size". Most of my homebreds were charting to be 7 pounds but instead ended up being a solid 4 to 5 pounds. Many of my big puppies ended up being even smaller adults. They were "big" 3-month-olds but not big adults. Right now, Tara is charting to be a 4-pound adult. Will she end up bigger or smaller than that? Time will tell. It's all in the genes.
