Bella loves to grab my hair scrunchies if she can occasionally find one. She'll take it off a table or anywhere she can reach. She also knows that the scrunchies are not her toy. So, if I don't ask her to give it back (which is what she wants me to do), she won't chew on it. She'll just lay it down on the sofa. This is a quirk unique to her. Scrunchies are a game to her.

She has a total fixation with getting hold of "this" something that belongs to me. And only this. The scrunchies are about the same size as many of her flattie dog toys. Plus, they carry my scent. Although Bella knows she's being naughty when she grabs a scrunchie, that doesn't discourage her. Fortunately, she does no harm, beyond getting doggy mouth on the hair tie. Luckily, it's a fresh smelling, tiny mouth that doesn't slobber...
