All American Pet Photo Day is joyfully celebrated each year on July 11. It is a day solely dedicated to appreciating our lovable pets who make life better every single day. While our pets almost always enjoy the limelight, this day encourages us to make it even more special and make them the main focus all day. Today, people upload photographs of their pets on social media and share the love for their furry or feathery friends with thousands of people online.

This year, we celebrate with not a pretty portrait,
but instead with a candid of Spaghetti sauce on Bailey.

To say that our dogs are spoiled would be an understatement. They demanded some of the pasta we had for dinner. So, I gave in. Being given a bowl to lick, all 3 really got into it. Although it's only been about 6 days since their last bath, it now looks like tomorrow will have to be bath day again. Bailey ended up wearing the sauce. Ditto with Bella (in the background above). However, the red sauce shows more on white Bailey. Now, I remember why I normally don't allow the girls to have anything from our table in a deep bowl... Today's photo will be a future reminder.

IMHO, Bailey is cute no matter what: even with a messy face and spaghetti sauce all over her. Cell phone cams today make capturing impromptu moments, like this, that probably would otherwise be missed.
