A few doggy themed Christmas things to go on the tabletops. That will take less than an hour to finish. And then, we're done decorating for 2023!!!

Next year, we'll probably have to give in and start things back in October like I used to do when we gave big holiday parties. That was before the pandemic changed life. We haven't given a party in 4 years.

Meanwhile, I don't like having our full Christmas decorations finished before Thanksgiving. I prefer to enjoy Halloween and Thanksgiving BEFORE turning to Christmas. Well, maybe I can wait next year until after November 1st to start the holiday decorations. That would be a compromise.

Beginning to seriously decorate for the holidays in December has ended up being a bit stressful. Thankfully, I had the girls to help me this year and make it fun. Plus, we're again not doing any major entertaining before Christmas Day. So, finishing "late" is no big deal. Although I haven't gone "all out" this year (unlike back when we used to entertain a lot), things are still looking good. I'm happy.

Despite not quite as laid back as snoozing Chile, I'm now just as content.
The holiday lights are so relaxing.
The work of decorating is almost done.
Now, I can enjoy things.
