Not really posing, Chile was actually participating in the unboxing of some of my newest ornaments. As I've mentioned before, Chile will often sit and stare at me to watch whatever I'm doing. Do humans really deserve such total love and devotion? For the answer, just ask a Chihuahua. Their bond to their humans is unshakable. They don't need a treat to pay attention. They seem to find their people that interesting.
And if you want to prop a Christmas ornament up in front of them, they're happy to allow that. Whatever-makes-their-people-happy makes them happy. Chihuahuas do things out of love. Do we humans deserve it? Well, most good Chihuahua owners are far more well trained (by the dogs) than their Chihuahuas are by their people. So, this isn't a one-way situation. LOL. We humans earn that "look of love" and devotion. It's a win/win relationship.
