Grazing 8-05-23

Unlike the groundhog, our resident rabbit doesn't eat the flowers off my potted plants. Rather than throw them in the garbage, I gave him some spent petunia blossoms that I had removed earlier in the day while grooming my plants. The bunny later came along, ate these treats in the yard, and then, moved on without touching anything else.

Knock on wood, to date, we do not have a notable rabbit problem. We only see rabbits occasionally.

FYI, the groundhogs will not eat old blooms like this. They ignore them. They want their flowers and greenery fresh off my plants. Thus, our clash between wildlife and humans.
