The Kansas City Chiefs did it again. The Chiefs have reached their third Super Bowl in four years.
Today, they won the 2022 AFC Divisional Championship and will be headed to the 2023 Super Bowl.

The above photo was a casual (not posed) photo taken just as the game was first starting.
Because I didn't plan to do any sort of photo shoot, I wasn't going to dress the dogs up. However, I had recently purchased a "Mahomes" jersey for Chile. In a game day mood, I decided to finally try the new shirt on her. That caused Bella and Bailey to come running and also demand attention. So, I got their Chiefs outfits out of storage and let the girls wear them; while they just did their own things during the championship playoff. As evidenced above, I did take a few quick, candid shots of the girls, but I was more interested in merely watching the game. So, there was only a handful of photos to remember the day: nothing thing posed nor requiring their attention. Bailey (who is now feeling better from her extreme dental) just gave me a glance.
Later, when the girls went out to go potty at the end of the first half, I took their outfits off. The Chiefs were ahead at that point. But then, the Bengals seemed to finally hit their stride & tied the game. With both Mahomes and Kelce injured, mistakes were being made & it started to look like things might not end well for the home team. Joking about "lucky charms" with my husband, I put the dogs' Chief gear back on them. Oddly, the tide of fortune then shifted again. Bengals Eli Apple (who was called for DPI) and an unnecessary-roughness-penalty by Joseph Ossai assisted in allowing the game-winning Chiefs field goal.
By the time the post-game show started, both Bailey and Chile (seen above) had then "walked" out of their slightly-too-big, Chiefs T-shirts. Game over, we're done... No more "good luck charms" needed. LOL. However, it was a fun evening for all; including the girls who asked to be dressed up.
