Good name for an indoors blooming Hibiscus.
This plant should be growing in our Solar Room at this time of year. However, frigid weather brought it into our Living Room in early December during a bitter cold spell that dropped temperatures in the Solar Room.
She still remains in the Living Room.
Although by Christmas, the outdoors weather had finally somewhat warmed up some from the unseasonable late Fall/early Winter very bitter arctic blast (zero to below zero Fahrenheit outdoor tempts), we are once again expecting another arctic major blast in early February. The heaters in the Solar Room can't handle that. So, this flowering plant will stay in the Living Room until early Spring when it will again be "safe" in a minimally heated area. She blooms reliably all year around: both indoors and out.
It was certainly nice to have hibiscus flowers in our Living Room on New Year's Day.
