When it was in full bloom earlier this month, it put on quite a show. The plant "Bolero" (the front pink Amaryllis, just starting here, https://pbase.com/britestar/image/173326449) had 10 flowers on two stalks - all open at the same time. Because it bloomed so heavily, I doubt Bolero will put out another flower stock this season. At the current time, the other amaryllises (in the linked image) each have one to two new flower stalks that should produce more flowers for them. Meanwhile, I think Bolero has reached its "leaves only" stage. The very first leaves are finally starting to peek out of its bulb.
I find it interesting how different amaryllises grow differently. Some send a flower stalk up first; while others leaf out and then produce a flower stalk. Some produce both the flower stalks and leaves at the same time. Some only have one flower stalk, and other have two or three flower stalks. Flower stalks can have different quantities of blooms. Some amaryllis produce only two flowers in total, & others can produce over a dozen flowers. The sizes of the flowers themselves can vary.
