The above photo was the calm waters on the Flathead River. The people were doing just a "Float" trip. This scene, however, lured me to try White Water Rafting for the first time.
Wanting more action, I decided to do the rapids in Glacier Park the following Summer. The rapids of the John Stevens Canyon are Class III. Those are fun.
My takeaway from the Class III rapids was: You will end up with really wet jeans & underwear that go squinch whenever you move. Ick!!! Maybe wearing a bathing suit would be better. VBG. Or else stick to calm waters like in the photo. Nevertheless, real white-water rafting - not just a float - is a lot of fun.
If you have any sense of adventure, go for the rapids!!! Or if you only want a relaxing time, do a float trip.
