The bird obviously is "Natural".
And I suppose its behavior was natural for her...
This was another case of a bird wanting to nest in our Solar Room (ie, "Sunroom"); which is a part of the interior of our home.
I had the screen door cracked open about 4 inches for the dogs to come back inside when they were done doing whatever doggies do outdoors. I also was sitting in a chair inside the Solar Room when suddenly something zoomed over my head. It was so close that I could feel it. That something was this little Chickadee.
She is seen above in the branches of one of my small hibiscus trees.
That's where the Cardinals had their nest a few years ago. I certainly don't want to have a repeat bird nest in the house!!!
The mate to this Chickadee started to also come inside, but he stopped abruptly when he saw me in the way. My problem then was to encourage the female to leave without inviting the male in. Because the Solar Room has a lot of glass, the female couldn't immediately figure out how to exit to be with her mate who was calling to her from the outside. Risking the male also coming inside, I had to open the one sliding door wide and hope for the best. After dining in my Solar room on a couple of spiders and spider eggs (who knew they were even there?), the female eventually went out of the wide open door. Upon her exit, I immediately shut everything up tight again. A little while later, she was back with some plant materials that she probably planned to use with for nest building. However, she couldn't get back in with the door then totally closed.
